12599ORDINANCE NO. 12,599 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following properties be and is hereby changed as indicated: Subsection (a) - Z -1850 - Described as the North half of Lot 8, and all of Lots 9 through 12, Block 268, Original City, from "E -1" Quiet Business District to "E -1 -A" Nursing Home, Lodging, and Undertaking District. Subsection (b) - Z -2544 - Described as Lot 7, Block 2, Strong and Waters Addition, from "D" Apartment District to "E -1" Quiet Business District. Subsection (c) - Z -2525 - Described as Lots 8 through 10, Block 10, Lincoln Park Addition, from "D" Apartment District to "E -1" Quiet Business District. Subsection (d) - Z -2536 - Described as Lots 15 & 16, Block 15, Bellevue Addition, from "C" Two- family District to "F" Commercial District. Subsection (e) - Z -2535 - Described as a tract described as part of Block 4, part of Block 5 (lying North of Rodney Parham Road) Booker Heights Subdivision, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, part of a 20 foot North -South Street (closed) lying adjacent to said Blocks 4 & 5 on the West, a 40 foot East -West Street (closed) lying between said Blocks 4 & 5, and a 10 foot North -South Alley (closed) lying in the center of said Blocks 4 & 5, all more particularly described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Block 5; thence North 89° 08' West along the South line of said Block 5, 141.34 feet to a point on the North right- of-way line of Rodney Parham Road; thence North 59° 29' 33" West along said North right -of -way line, 184.14 feet to a point on the centerline of said 20 foot North - South Street; thence North along said North -South centerline, being 10 feet West of and parallel with the West line of said Blocks 4 & 5, 358.92 feet; thence South 89° 08' East, 300 feet to a point on the East line of said Block 4; thence South along the East line of said Block 4, said line extended Southerly and the East line of said Block 5, 450.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 127,762.64 square s feet or 2.9330 acres, more or less, from "A" One- family District to "F" Commercial District; AND part of Block 4, Booker Heights Subdivision, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, the S 1/2 of a 20 foot East -West Street (closed) lying adjacent to said Block 4 on the North, the East 1/2 of a 20 foot North -South Street (closed) lying adjacent to said Block 4 on the West and a 10 foot North -South Alley (closed) lying in the center of said Block 4, all more particularly described as: Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of said North -South Street and said East -West f%-t - 2 - Street; thence South 89° 08' East along said East -West centerline, being 10 feet North of and parallel with the North line of said Block 4, 300.0 feet; thence South along the East line of said Block 4 and said line extended Northerly, 200.0 feet; thence North 89° 08' West, 300.0 feet to a point on the centerline of said North -South Street; thence North along said North -South centerline, being 10 feet West of and parallel with the West line of said Block 4, 200.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 59,993.14 square feet or 1.3772 acres, more or less, from "A" One- family District to "MF 18" Multi- family District. Subsection (f) - Z -2543 - Described as part of Lot 8 of West Markham Street Subdivision of S 1/2 NE 1/4 and SW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 3, and the SE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 4, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, in Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the North line of said Lot 8, which is 100 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Lot 8; thence East along said North line 91.5 feet to the West right -of -way line of Oak Lane Drive; thence South along the West line of Oak Lane Drive 105 feet; thence West 91.5 feet; thence North 105 feet to the point of beginning, from "A" One- family District to "E -1" Quiet Business District. Subsection (g) - Z -2537 - Described as the South 230 feet of that part of the NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 23, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Commence at the Northwest corner of NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 23, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, thence East 741.8 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 330 feet; thence East 100 feet; thence South 676.8 feet to a point on the North line of State Highway #5 which is 490.7 feet Westerly from the East line of said NE 1/4 NW 1/4 measured along the North right -of -way line of State Highway #5; thence Southwesterly along North line of said Highway 113.8 feet to a point (being the Southeast corner of the tract of land conveyed by Clarence C. Reandeau and Virginia D. Reandeau, his wife, to Luna G. Craver by deed dated January 26, 1970 recorded in Deed Book 1097, Page 507); thence North 040 06' East 265.8 feet; thence North 749.2 feet to the North line of NE 1/4 NW 1/4; thence East 16.7 feet to the point of beginning, from "B" Residence District to "F" Commercial District. i Subsection (h)-- Z -2545 - Described as part of Block 11, Pike Addition to City of Little Rock, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 192 feet South 55° 30' West from the Southeast corner of Block 11, run thence South 55° 30' West along the North side of right -of -way 100 feet; thence North 07° West 150 feet; thence North 55° 30' East 100 feet; thence South 07° East 150 feet to the point of beginning; in Pulaski County, Arkansas, from "B" Residence District to "F" Commercial District. a► � � r - 3 - Subsection (i) - Z -2546 - Described as Lots 40 through 46, of Vernon Place Addition, from "A" One- family to "D" Apartment District. Subsection Q) - Z -2507 - Described as the E 1/2 of Block 2, McLean's Addition, and the N 1/2 of Block 6, Clinton Park Addition, from "B" Residence and "C" Two- family Districts to "K" Heavy Industrial District. SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and designated "District Map" be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change pro- vided for in Section 1 hereof..
