AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,643.86 FROM
THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL
FUND TO BE USED IN THE PURCHASE OF ANIMALS
FOR THE LITTLE ROCK ZOO; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. It is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the general fund the sum of $2,643.86 to be used together
with other funds now and hereafter made available for the purpose of
purchasing two (2) Polar Bear Cubs and One (1) Bengal Tiger Cub for
the Little Rock Municipal Zoo at a total cost not to exceed $5,500.00.
This appropriation ordinance is also authority for the City Manager
toraake the referenced purchases and issue the City's check or checks
in paymen' thereof upon delivery of the said animals.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
