12584e� ORDINANCE NO. 12,584 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO THE' CITY OF LITTLE ROCK OF CERTAIN LAND CONTIGUOUS TO AND ADJOINING THE CITY LYING IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION THREE, TOWNSHIP ONE NORTH, RANGE THIRTEEN WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, on the 19th day of October, 1971, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, did make and enter, after due notice and hearing, as prescribed by law, its order annexing to the City of Little Rock the following described land in Pulaski County contiguous to and adjoining the City, to wit: and; A tract of land in the SEk SW4, Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said SEk SW14; thence Westerly along the South line of said SE4 M4 for 1,183.6 feet to a point 130 feet East of the Southwest corner of said SEk SWk; thence Northerly and parallel to the West line of said SEk SWk, for 230 feet to a point; thence Westerly and - parallel to the South line of said SEk SWk for 130 feet to the West line of said SEA SWk; thence Northerly 1,084.6 feet along the said West line to the Northwest corner of said SEA SW-4-; thence Easterly along the North line of said SEA SW,4-, which is along the present City Limits line of land annexed by Ordinance No. 10,987 to the Northeast corner of said SEA M4; thence Southerly along the East line of said SEA SW�,which is also along the existing City Limits line of land annexed by Ordinance No. 11,353 to the point of beginning; containing 39.31 acres, more or less; WHEREAS, the Directors have found, and they do hereby declare, that the annexation of said land is in the interest of the City and of its inhabitants; eco 7�S r_ s .J �� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: SECTION 1. That the annexation of said land to the City of Little Rock hereby is accepted. SECTION 2. That the land described in this ordinance is assigned to and is made a part of the Fourth Ward in the City. SECTION 3. It has been found and it hereby is declared that said land forms a part of a larger tract which presently is being developed into a hospital and health complex and that said development should proceed in accordance with applicable ordinances and regulations, and that the same should have and receive the prompt attention and services of the responsible agencies and departments of the City.
