ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF PART OF SPARKS ACRES, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an order was duly rendered and entered by the
County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on October 12, 1971,
granting the prayer of the petition filed in the office of the
Clerk of said Court on July 30, 1971, annexing to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, the area described in said petition and
order and hereinafter described, a copy of said October 12,
1971, order having been duly forwarded to the City Clerk of
Little Rock, Arkansas, by the County Clerk of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since said
order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, was
made and entered annexing said area to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, and that no person has given any notice. or
instituted any proceeding to have such annexation prevented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
annexes and accepts the area of land described hereinafter
and makes the same a part and parcel of the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, as authorized and provided by
law:
Tract 1, LESS AND EXCEPT the North 435.6 ft. thereof;
and all of Tract 2; and all of Tract. '3 LESS AND
EXCEPT.the North 326.7 ft. of the East 100 ft. thereof
and LESS AND EXCEPT the East 147 ft. of the South 250
ft. thereof; all in SPARK'S. ACRES, in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, located in the 'Nh of .the NWk, ;Section 6,
T -1 -S, R -12 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, all more parti-
cularly described as: Beginning at the Southwest corner
of said Tract '1; thence North along the West line of
said Tract 1, 614.1 ft; thence N 890 42' 30" E, 204.4
ft. to a point on the West line of said Tract 2; thence
N 00 05' E along said West line, 435.6 ft. to a point
on the South right -of -way line'of Baseline :Road; thence
N 890 42' 30" E along said South right -of -way line,. 305.4
ft.; thence S 00 01' E,.326.7 ft.; thence N 890 42' 30" E,
100.0 ft. to a point on the East line of said Tract 3;
thence S 00 01' E along said East line, 460.95 ft.; thence
S 880 35' W, 147.00 ft; thence S 00 01' E, 250.0 ft. to
a point on the South line of said Tract'3; thence S 880
35' W along the South line of said Tract 3 and the South
line of Tracts 2 & 1, 463.8 ft. to the point of beginning
of the tract of land herein described, containing 10.987
Acres more or less.

Section 2. A.copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the. Office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records
of the said County.
Section'.3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
