ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND
CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 1, C. E. GALLAGHER'S
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
AND A PORTION OF WEST 24th STREET.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 12th day of November,
1971, requesting the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon
that portion of West 24th Street lying between Woodrow and Booker
Streets and the alley running East and West in Block 1 of C. E.
Gallagher's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, same
being located between Woodrow and Booker Streets, as designated
on the plat of C. E. Gallagher's Addition now appearing of record
in Deed Book 77, page 428, in the Office of the Circuit Clerk and
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any
public utility easements located in said street and alley; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard
all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the street and alley hereinbefore described have heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as a street and alley, as herein
described; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the
alley and the portion of the street to be vacated have filed with
the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment;
and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected
by the abandonment thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of
the public generally, in and to the street and alley designated
as follows:

subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street and alley.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of.the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
