ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
THE ALLEY NORTH OF THE WRIGHT AVENUE BYPASS IN
BLOCK 238, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, on the 13th day of October , 1971,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon the alley North
of the Wright Avenue Bypass in Block 238, Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utitlity
easements in said alley, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors,
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desir-
ing to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, hereinafter
described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public as an alley, as
herein described; is not presently being used by the public generally as
a travelled way; that the owner of all the lands abutting the alley to be
closed herein, Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
filed with the Board of Directors its written consent and request for such
abandonment and there have been no objections to the closing, and that the
public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandon-
ment of such alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
That portion of an alley lying North of the North
R/W line of the Wright Avenue Bypass within
Block 238, Original City of Little Rock, described

Beginning at the NW corner, Lot 12, Block 238 of
the Original City of Little Rock Run S 090 17' 20"
E 64.40 feet along the West line of lots 11 and 12
to a point on 5023' 17" curve to the right (North
R/W line Wright Avenue Bypass) said curve having
a chord bearing and distance of S 530 26' 51" W
27.70 feet; thence run along the arc of said curve
27.72 feet to a point on the East line of Lot 2;
thence run N 090 17' 20" W 84.31 feet along the
East line of Lots 1 and 2 to the NE corner Lot 1;
thence run S 800 40' 20" E 20.00 feet to the point
of beginning.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
