AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,591.77 FROM
THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE STREET
FUND; AWARDING A CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of one precast
concrete slab bridge to be used by the Street Department; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid has been deter-
mined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock to authorize the purchase of this item from the lowest
responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the Street Fund the sum of $5,591.77 for one precast con-
crete slab bridge for use by the Street Department.
SECTION 2. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on a con-
tract for the purchase of one precast concrete slab bridge is hereby
accepted and a contract hereby awarded to Choctaw, Inc., 1300 Bond
Street, Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the aforementioned item, complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said purchase
price.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
