ORDINANCE NO. 12,525
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART ORDINANCE
NO. 12463 SAME PERTAINING TO THE ESTABLISH-
MENT OF A CENTRAL SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING
BURGLAR AND FIRE ALARMS IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Manager by Ordinance 12463 was authorized to
execute an agreement with Mosler Safe Company for the installation
by said Company of all equipment and apparatus necessary for a
central standardized system for receiving burglar and fire alarms
throughout the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, it now develops that Mosler Safe Company is unable
to provide the equipment and apparatus for receiving fire alarms
but that such equipment and apparatus can be provided by S purling
of Arkansas, an Arkansas Corporation, having main offices at 1610
Jinny Lind St.,Fort Smith, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
an agreement with Spurling of-Arkansas, an Arkansas Corporation,
providing for the installation by said Company at a place to be
designated within the central fire station all equipment and apparatus
necessay for a central standardized system for receiving fire alarms
throughout the City of Little Rock, which said agreeement shall provide
and be subject to all terms and provisions as set forth in Ordinance
No. 12463 of the Board of Directors passed April 19, 1971.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 12463 passed April 19, 1971 is hereby
amended so as to be consistent with the provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
From and after its passage.
