AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF TWO
APPLICATIONS WITH THE STATE OF ARKANSAS FOR
GRANT FUNDS TO FINANCE TWO ALCOHOLIC SAFETY
ACTION PROGRAM PROJECTS; APPROPRIATING THE SUM
OF $6,000.00 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF
THE GENERAL FUND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager, acting for and on behalf of
the city of Little Rock is hereby authorized to prepare and
file with the State of Arkansas two applications for Grant
Funds, one in the amount of $6,255.00 and the other in the
amount of $6,178.00 to provide clerical personnel for the Court
and the Police Department, all as authorized under the Federal
Traffic and Highway Safety Program.
SECTION 2. The sum of $6,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund as the
City's share of the total cost of these two projects.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
