ORDINANCE NO. 12,679
AN ORDINANCE FIXING RATES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS, TO PERSONS AND FIRMS RESIDING OUTSIDE OF THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY; PRESCRIBING OTHER NATTERS
RELATING THERETO, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, under the authority of Act No. 288 of the Acts
of the State of Arkansas for 1959, the Little Rock Sanitary
Sewer System has extended its services to persons and firms
residing outside the corporate limits of the city, and
WHEREAS, the cost to render this service exceeds the cost
of service to firms and persons residing within the corporate
limits, and
WHEREAS, the persons and firms outside the corporate limits,
who use the facilities of the Sanitary Sewer System, should pay
their appropriate share of said costs.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance, the monthly sewer charge to persons and firms residing
outside the corporate limits, and who use the facilities of the
Little Rock Sanitary Sewer System, will be one and one -half
times the sewer rates levied by Ordinance No. 12625.
Section 2. All resolutions and ordinances and parts there-
of in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance will become effective thirty (30)
days after its passage and publication.
