ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF GLOVER STREET ABUTTING BLOCK 20 OF
THE BELLEVUE ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th day
of June
1972, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and
abandon part of Foxcroft Road, formerly known as Fourth St. and Glover St.,
abutting a part of Block 20 of the Bellevue Addition, an Addition
to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said
Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book 1, Page 251, in the
office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however,
to any public easements in said street; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the street hereinbefore described, has heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein described;
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of
five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the
owners of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated have
filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such
abandonment; and thatpublic interest and welfare will not be
adversely affected by theabandonment of such street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to Foxcroft Road, formerly

known as Fourth Street, abutting part of Block 20 of the Bellevue
Addition, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
described as follows:
Commencing at the SE Corner of the NW4 of the
SE4, Sec. 26, Township 2N, Range 13W, thence S
89 005 "E 30 ft., which is a point 52 ft. from the
SW Corner of Lot 6, Block 20 of the Bellevue
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
on the West boundary line of Lot 6, Block 20, of
the Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence N0 003 "W 88 ft. along said West
boundary line of Lot 6, Block 20 of the Bellevue
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
which is the NW Corner of the Lot 6, Block 20 of the
Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence N89 0 05"W 15 ft. ; thence
N0 003 "W 60 ft.; thence N89 005 11W 15 ft.; thence
S0003 "E 148 ft. to the Point of Beginning,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
