AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXA-
TION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS, OF
CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN THE NW4 OF SECTION 29,
TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, CONSISTING OF 27.39 ACRES, MORE OR LESS
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on August 31, 1972, upon the Petition of
Floyd H. Fulkerson, being the sole owner of all the property
affected, after due notice of hearing on said Petition for the
time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the annexa-
tion to the City of Little Rock of the following described
lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
A tract of land located in the NWk Section 29,
T -2 -N R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as: Starting at the
Northeast corner of the NWk said Section 29;
thence SO °19'49 "E along the East line of said
NWk, 942.0 ft. to the point of beginning of the
tract of land described herein; thence continue
SO° 19' 49 "E along the East line of said NWk. 1576.07
ft.; thence S89 °40'11 "W, 148.89 ft.; thence N15 °30'
25 "W, 179.54 ft.; thence N70 °30'37 "W, 704.36 ft.'
thence N26 °23'51 "W, 152.95 ft.; thence N06 057'48 "W,
659.87 ft.; thence N05 028'08 "W, 188.86 ft; thence
N79 029'08 "E, 1035.18 ft. to the point of beginning
of the tract of land described herein, containing
1,193,404 sq. ft. or 27.3967 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted
any proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
or elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants
have appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review,
set aside or appeal from the said Order of the County Court;
and

WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREF ORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
acting through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve
the annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of
the incorporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all
of the lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is further ordered that said lands be,
and they are hereby assigned and attached to and made a part
of the Fifth- Ward of said City of Little Rock.
