ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE
STREETS DEDIQ-aTED BY THE DEDICATION DEEDS OF RECORD
IN BOOK 1016, AT PAGE 299, AS CORRECTED BY DEED OF
RECORD IN BOOK 1139, AT PAGE 489, IN THE OFFICE OF
THE RECORDER OF PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 7th day of September,
1972, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon the
streets dedicated by the deeds of record in Book 1016, at Page
299, as corrected by the Dedication Deed of record in Book 1139,
at Page 489 in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Ark-
ansas; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has by its duly adopted Reso-
lution set a hearing on said Petition to be held on October 17,
1972, and publication of due notices as required by law has been
had and the Board of Directors has,at the time and place mentioned
in the Notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the ques-
tion and has ascertained that the streets heretofore dedicated by
the deeds aforesaid and as hereinafter more particularly described
have not been accepted and confirmed by any ordinance of the City
of Little Rock, nor have said streets been open or used by the
public, nor are any public utilities installed therein, and further
k*lg found and ascertained that the area embraced within said streets
is now a part of the lands platted as Section D of Sheraton Park
Addition to the City of Little Rock, which plat has been duly
approved by the required officials of the City of Little Rock, and
is now of record in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, in Plat Book 29, at Page 38, which Flat and Subdivision
has effectively dedicated for public use sufficient property for
the necessary streets and utility easements to serve the public and
the property platted as such Subdivision and the owners of property

adjacent thereto; and
WHEREAS, the streets as dedicated in the deeds aforesaid
and as hereinafter more particularly described are located en-
tirely within the bounds of property owned by the Petitioner,
and all persons required by law have filed with the Board of Di-
recotrs their written consent to the abandonment of said streets;
and that the public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of said streets; and all abutting
property owners and other persons directly interested having con-
sented to such abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC`T'ORS OF
THE 'CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re-
leases, vacates,abandons all its rights, together with the rights
of the public generally, in and to the streets described in the
Correction Dedication Deed of record in Book 1139, at Page 489,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, which
streets in Pulaski County, Arkansas, are more particularly described
as follows:
1. The West 30 feet of the South 372 feet of
the SW�4 of the SE3f of Section 26, Township
2 North, Range 13 West; and
2. A strip 50 feet in width, the center line
of which is described as follows: Commence
at the Southwest corner of the SWI-4, of the SEh
of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 13 West,
and run thence North along the West boundary
thereof 397 feet to the point of beginning of
this easement; thence South 88 degrees 32 min-
utes East to the East boundary of the SY4 of
the SWg of the SEA which is the end of this
easement.
SECTION 2. That the abandoned streets as above described
being located within the bounds of property now platted as part of
Section D of Sheraton Park an Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, according to plat of record in the office of the Recorder

aforesaid in Plat Book 29, at Page 38, the title to the area.
in said abandoned streets shall vest in Petitioner, First Service
Corporation, its successors and assigns, free from any public
easement therein for use as a street.
SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and recorded in the deed records of the County.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
