AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $29,727.00 FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE STREET FUND TO THE 1972 LEGACY
OF PARKS PROGRAM AND MODEL CITIES GENERAL FUND; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has received reimbursement from Federal funds from the
1971 City Beautification Program in the amount of $29,727.00 which sum had
previously been advanced from Street Funds of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, additional funds were needed to supplement prior appropriations
for the 1972 Legacy of Parks Program; and
WHEREAS, Model Cities General Fund should be reimbursed for expenditures
made in defraying the cost of landscaping at the South End Family Center.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $26,849.51 is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance of the Street Fund and credited to the 1972 Legacy of Parks Program
Account to supplement the cost of performing said program.
SECTION 2. The sum of $2,877.49 is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance of the Street Fund for the purpose of reimbursing Model Cities General
Fund Account for money expended to provide landscaping of the South End Family
Center.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
