ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE ALLEY RUNNING
NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH THE SOUTH 184 FEET OF BLOCK 1, UNION
DEPOT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Di-
rectors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 10th day of
October , 19 72 , asking the Board of Directors to vacate and
abandon a portion of the alley in Flock , Union Depot Addition
to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addi-
tion now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 , Page Z , in the office
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however to
any public easements in said alley; and
',giEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has as-
certained that the alley, hereinbefore described, has heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein described;
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of
at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that
all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be
vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written con-
sent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDi BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re-
leases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights
of the public generally, in and to that portion of the alley designa-
ted as; follows:
Running North and South through
the South 184 feet of Block 3
Union Depot Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
alley.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
