ORDINANCE NO. 12,731
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CERTAIN
ITEMS AND SUPPLIES FOR USE BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
certain items and supplies for use by the City of Little Rock;
and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize contracts to be awarded to the lowest
responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids
on contracts for purchase of the following items are hereby
accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. Upon delivery and /or installation of the above
items complying in all respects with the bidding specifications
and bid proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3. The sum of $5,817.24 is hereby appropriated from
the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to defray the cost
of the engine for the 1953 Seagrave Fire Truck.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
