AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE ARKANSAS
MUNICIPAL LEAGUE AND UNION LIFE INSURANCE
COMPANY FOR EMPLOYEE HOSPITALIZATION INSU-
RANCE; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
an agreement with the Arkansas Municipal League whereby hospital-
ization insurance would be provided by Union Life Insurance Co-
mpany of Little Rock, Arkansas, for all active employees of the
City of Little Rock with all premium costs at the rate of $ 10.55
per employee per month being paid by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The sum of $ 30,154.00 is hereby approriated
from the unexpended balance of the General Fund to be used together
with funds heretofore appropriated in the 1973 Budget for the purpose
of paying the total cost of such employee hospitalization insurance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
