ORDINANCE NO. 12,755
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS ANNEXED TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on February 8, 1973, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, approved the annexation of the below described
lands to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following described lands in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, are accepted as annexed to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas:
The North one -half (N 1/2) North one -half (N 1/2)
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) and the Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4), Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 13 West
and part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) Northwest
Quarter (NW 1/4) Section 7, Township 1 South, Range
12 West, all in Pulaski County, Arkansas, said part
of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4), Section 7, being more particularly described
as: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Northwest
Quarter (NW 1/4) Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) Section 7;
thence East along the North line of said Northwest
Quarter (NW 1/4) Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4), 360 feet;
thence South along a line 360 feet East of and parallel
with the West line of said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4)
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4), to a point on the Easterly
projection of the South line of the Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4) Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4) Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 13 West;
thence West along said Easterly projection 360 feet to
a point on the West line of said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4)
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4); thence North along said West
line to the point of beginning.
and
All public rights of way adjacent to the above described
lands.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, safety and welfare of this community and its citizens;
that an emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
