ORDINANCE NO. 12-,79-1
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MISSOURI STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 631 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the real property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an improve-
ment district be established for the purposes hereinafter set out;
and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by a majority in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement dis-
trict embracing the following property in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 13 through 24, in Block 7, and
Lots 1 through 12, in Block 10, all in
Riffel & Rhoton's Forest Park Highlands
Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas
for the purpose of constructing curbs, gutters, grading, and paving
Missouri Street between Georgia and Mississippi Streets, and that
the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property above described.
Said District shall be known as "Missouri Street Improve-
ment District No. 631 of Little Rock, Arkansas ", and
Larry Lille,
, Roy Beal
, and
Leslie T.
Sawyer
are hereby named
Commissioners, who shall
compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
