AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN ABANDONED AND
JUNK AUTOMOBILE DIVISION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PERSONNEL
THEREFOR; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby created within the Community
Development Department the Abandoned And Junk Automobile Divi-
sion with such duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed
from time to time by the City Manager.
SECTION 2. Two additional personnel positions with a job
classification of Equipment Operator III and pay grade and
step range of P6 -2 at a monthly salary of $476.00 Each are hereby
provided for and created. Said personnel will be assigned to
and utilized in the Abandoned And Junk Automobile Division.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the unappro-
priated balance of the General Fund the sum of $15,000.00 of
which the sum of $6,050.00 shall be used for the purpose of
salaries and related expenses; the sum of $8,250.00 for the pur-
chase of equipment; the sum of $600.00 for supplies and the sum
of $100.00 for the maintenance of equipment, all pertaining to
the equipng, operating and maintenance of the Abandoned And
Junk Automobile Division.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
