AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER PIPE LINE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
No. 135 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in value of real property located within the territory herein-
after described have filed a petition praying that an improvement
district be established for the purpose hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
the parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by a majority in value of the owners of real
property within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
District embracing the following property in the City of
Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
All of the W2 of the NW4 lying North of Interstate 30,
also the W 1/3 of the NE4 of the NW4 less the South 40
feet thereof. All in Section 3, Township 1 South, Range
13 West.
All of the NE4 lying North of Interstate 30 and Last of
Interstate 430, Less and kept, the South 497 feet. Also,
all of the NE4 of the NWq. All in Section 4, Township 1
South, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
The South 800 feet of the SE4 of the SW4. Also, the South
1090 feet of the East 200 feet of the SW4, SE4, also the
E2 of the SE4. All in Section 33, Township 1 North, Range
13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
The S2 of the SW4. Also the NW4 of the SW4. Also, the
West 170 feet of the S2 of the SW4 of the SA. All in
Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas:
for the purpose of constructing within the district a water

pipe line distribution system to serve the inhabitants thereof
and to construct a water pipe line beyond the boundaries of the
water district,if necessary, to make the desired connection with
the water distribution system of the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas: said water pipe line distribution system to be con-
structed in the manner and of the materials that the commis-
sioners of the district shall deem for the best interest of the
district, and that the cost thereof be assessed upon the real
property above described according to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Water Pipe Line Improve-
ment District No. 135 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Vail
Paschal, Jr., Raymond L. Brown, and Earl Ragsdale, who are
owners of real property in said district are hereby named com-
missioners and shall compose the Board of Improvement for
said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
