AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO PAY THE
CITY'S SHARE OF LEAA GRANT FUNDS TO ESTABLISH
A RESIDENTIAL AREA FOOT PATROL; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $32,037.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund as the City's
share of LEAA grant funds received to establish a residential area
foot patrol in an effort to combat residence burglaries. The
project provides for 25 patrolmen with one lieutenant and two
sergeants and related equipment.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
