ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS VACATING AND CLOSING A PART OF BUTLER ROAD
LOCATED IN TRIANGLE PROPERTIES INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, A
SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 26th day of April
19 74, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of
Butler Road platted to be a public road by an Order of the County Court of
Pulaski County,. Arkansas, by an Order now entered in Book 63 at Page 24 of
the Records of said Court; and
WHEREAS, said County Court Order erroneously described said road
as being located on the east line of the west 5 acres of the east 10 acres
of the SO4 SE14 Section 35, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, when in fact said road was intended to be described in said Order
as located and in fact was always located on the west line of said west 5
acres; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by last, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the
road, hereinbelow described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public
use as a road, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public
generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing
of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the road
to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent
to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be
adversely affected by the abandonment of such road;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to;
The North 700 ft. of Butler Road more particularly described
as: Being 25 ft. on both sides of the North 700 ft. of the
West line of the West 5 acres of the East 10 acres of SW14 SE14
Section 35, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas; except
that part of the foregoing Road now lying within the rights-
of-way of Production or Distribution Drives, Triangle
Properties Industrial District.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and
recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
