AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS OF A TRACT OF LAND IN SECTION
31, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
Whereas, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its order of October 30, 1973, upon the petition of the
WRW Partnership, composed of Eugene R. Weinstein, Richard A.
Williams, and E. L. Ronnel, said partnership being the sole own-
er of the lands to be annexed, after due notice of hearing on
said petition for the time and the manner prescribed by law, order-
ing the annexation of the following described lands located in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:
That part of the SW 1/4 of Section 31, Township
1 North, Range 12 West, beginning 20 feet East
and 957.81 feet North of the Southwest corner,
thence East 430 feet, thence North 187.05 feet,
thence West 430 feet, thence South 187.05 feet,
containing 1.71 acres, more or less.
Whereas, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said order by the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm, or corporation has instituted any
proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants have
appeared and no notice has been given to the authorities of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review,
set aside, or appeal from said Order of the County Court; and
Whereas, said above - described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, act-
ing by and through its Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the in-
corporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of the
lands described above; and that said lands be, and are hereby
assigned and attached to the Fourth Ward of this City.
Section 2. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that when two copies
of the entire proceedings in the Pulaski County Court concerning
this annexation have been prepared and duly filed by the Pulaski
County Clerk, one copy of said proceedings shall be delivered to
and filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Arkansas,
pursuant to Arkansas Statutes (1947) §19 -305.
