AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12,738 PASSED
JANUARY 16, 1973, TO CORRECT AN ERRONEOUS DESCRIP-
TION OF THE PROPERTY CONDEMNED BY SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 12,738 CONDEMNING THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HERE-
IN FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING
AN EASEMENT ACROSS SAID PROPERTY FOR THE USE AND
BENEFIT OF MODEL CITIES SECOND YEAR DRAINAGE PRO-
JECT; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE NECESSARY
LEGAL ACTION TO OBTAIN SAID EASEMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 12,738 passed January 16, 1973, by the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock is hereby amended to
correct an erroneous description of the easement to be condemned
and substitute a correct description therefor, which is as follows:
Being part of the North 50 feet of Lots 9 and 10 and the North
Half of Lot 11, Block A, being a replat of Harrington's Third
Industrial Addition more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Lot 11, of said Lot ll.thence
South 42 feet along the West line of Lot 11 to the point of
beginning; thence East perpendicular to the West line of Lot
11, 12 feet; thence South and parallel to said West line 3
feet; thence East and perpendicular to the said West line of
Lot 11, 129.15+ feet to a point on the east line of said Lot
9; thence South along the said East line of Lot 9, 5 feet;
thence west along the South line of said North 50 feet of
Lots 9 and 101 94.10 feet to a point on the East line of Lot
11; thence South along the East line of Lot 11, 21 feet to a
point; thence West along the line perpendicular to the East
line of Lot 11, 35+ feet; thence South 3 feet along a line
parallel to the West line of Lot 11 to a point; thence West
along a line perpendicular to the West line of Lot 11 to a
point on the West line of Lot 11; thence north along the West
line of Lot 11 to the point of beginning.
This property herein described is owned by Rosie Mae Hudspeth,
6501 East 47th Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
The property hereinabbve- :described is necessary to the public
for the purposes of establishing and providing an easement for the
Model Cities Second Year Drainage Project.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and afterits passage.
