AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 12,791 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the notice as required by law of the hearing on the peti-
tion praying for an improvement district to be established for the
purpose of constructing curbs, gutters, grading and paving Missouri Street
between Florida and Georgia Streets, through typographical error, incor-
rectly stated that the purpose was the improvement of Missouri Street
between Georgia and Mississippi Streets; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the hearing on this amendment to said Ordinance
No. 12,791 was duly published in the Arkansas Democrat on December 3rd
and December 10th, 1973, setting forth the time and date of a meeting of
the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to hear any
protestants to this amending ordinance to correctly state the beginning
and ending of the improvement on Missouri Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
heard all parties desiring to be heard and has ascertained that said
Ordinance No. 12,791 should be amended; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 12,791, duly passed on
June 19, 1973, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to -wit:
Lots 13 through 24, in Block 7, and
Lots 1 through 12, in Block 10, all in
Riffel & Rhoton's Forest Park Highlands
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
for the purpose of constructing curbs, gutters, grading, and paving
Missouri Street between Florida and Georgia Streets, and that the cost

thereof be assessed upon the real property above described.
Said District shall be known as "Missouri Street Improvement
District No. 631 of Little Rock, Arkansas ", and Larry Lilley, Roy Bell,
and Leslie T. Sawyer are hereby named Commissioners, who shall compose
the Board of Improvement for said District."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
