AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
EQUIPMENT; LEASING BULLDOZER; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase
of equipment for use by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize contracts for the purchase of the said equipment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids
on equipment for use by the City are hereby accepted and con-
tracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. The Lease Agreement between the City of Little
Rock and Little Rock Road Machinery Company wherein the City
leases one TD -20C Bulldozer is hereby extended for the remainder
of the calendar year 1973 at a monthly rental of $1,725.00.
SECTION 3. The sum of $24,720.00 is hereby appropriated
from Federal General Revenue Sharing Funds to defray the purchase
price of the Hyster Compactor.

SECTION 4. Upon delivery of the aforementioned items
complying in all respects with bidding specifications the City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to issue
the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said contract
price.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
