AN ORDINANCE CREATING POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING SALARIES AND DUTIES
THEREFOR; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following positions are hereby created within the
Department of Community Development, to have Civil Service status and with
salary and pay classification set opposite:
Electrical Inspector I Range F7, Step 2
Zoning Enforcement Officer I Range F8, Step 1
Planner I Range F8, Step 2
$700.00 per month
$650.00 per month
$766.67 per month
The duties and responsibilities of said positions shall be such as from time
to time may be provided by the City Manager and Director of Community
Development.
SECTION 2. The sum of $22,200.00 is hereby appropriated from Entitlement
Period I of General Federal Revenue Sharing funds to be used, $12,700.00 for
salaries and the remainder thereof for two radio equipped automobiles for
use by the Department of Community Development to be purchased at a later
time.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
