AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING EAST SEVENTH STREET IN
BLOCK B, EAST END ADDITION AND BLOCK 1, FAIRGROUNDS ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 21st day of May, 1973, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon all of East Seventh Street in Block B, East
End Addition and Block 1, Fairgrounds Addition to the City of Little Rock as
designated on the plat of said Additions now appearing of record in Plat Book
No. 2, at Pages 14 and 35, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said East Seventh Street;
and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has,
at the time and place mentioned in the Notice, heard all persons desiring to be
heard on the question and has ascertained that the said East Seventh_ Street,
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a
street, as herein described; has never actually been used by the, public generally
subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property
abutting upon the street to be vacated have filed with.the Board of Directors
their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and
abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and
to the street designated as follows:
East Seventh Street as originally dedicated between its intersection
with the East Right -of -Way of Calhoun Street and its intersection
with the West Right -of -Way of Townsend Street
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall
be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the
Deed Records of the County.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
