AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGNING SAME TO
WARDS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter described lands, praying
that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of May, 1973, the County Court of
Pulaski County, Aransas, found that the petition was signed by Robert
Chowning, as duly authorized agent for owner of a majority of all of said
lands; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of
said lands had been filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper
notice had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed
by law, and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of
Directors of said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order
of annexation made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been
taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the following described lands contiguous and
adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby
accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
Lot 20, Triangle Properties Industrial District, Asseib-ly Court, a portion o
Distribution Drive aid part of the SE1 /4 of Section 35, T-1-IN R -134.1, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, all more particularly described as: Beginning at a point
on the present City LH, -its, said point being the intersection of the Norm
right -of -way line of the ;Missouri Pacific Railroad and the West right -of -way
line of Chicot Road; thence N01 °31'20 "E along said 6-Jest right -of -way line,
297.64 ft. to a point on the North line of the SE1 /4 SE1 /4 said Section 35;
thence 28 °18'50 "W along said North line, 517.63 ft. to a point 772.6 ft. East
of the Northwest corner of said SEl /4 SE1 /4; thence N27 °24'W, 375.6 ft. to a
point on the South right -of -way line or Distribution Drive; thence N62" V E
along said South right -of -way line 71.0 ft.; thence Northeasterly and continuing
along said South right -of -•ray line, being the•arc of a 279.13 ft. radius curve
to tike left, having a chord bearing and distance of 11134'42'18 "E, 200.9 ft. to
rile Southwest corner o f Lot 20, Triangle Properties Industrial District; thence
S79 044'40 "E along the South line of said Lot 20, 242.3 ft. to the Southeast corner
thereof; thence Northerly along the East line of said Lot 20 and said East line ex-
teiided Northerly the following bearings and distances: (N01 °31'20 "E, 116.02 ft.;
N88 028'40 "W, 8.4 ft.; N1203514, 204.7 12t.; N41 °33'W, 177.9 ft.); thence S62 °36'W,
41.0 ft.; thence N27 °24'1W, 100.0 ft. to a point on the South right -of -way line of
Interstate Route No. 30, (said point being 632.2 ft., S62 °36'W and 40.0 ft.,
N01'31 '20"E from the Northeast corner of the NE1 /4 SE1/4 said Section 35,) thence
S62 °36'41 along said South right -of -way line, 2'20 ft. to a point on the West right -
of -way line of Distribution Drive (said point being the Northeast corner of
Lot 3 Triangle Properties Industrial District); thence S27024'E along the East
line of said Lot 3, 271.2 ft.; thence Southeasterly and continuing along said
East line, being the arc of a 219.13 ft. radius curve to the right, 'raving a
chord bearing and distance of S24 °56'E, 18.8 ft. to the Southeast corner thereof;
thence S62°36'W along the South line of said Lot 3, 289.2 ft. to the Southwest
corner thereof; thence %27024'W along the West line of said Lot 3, 40.0 ft.;
thence S62036'W, 300.0 ft.; thence S27 °24'E, 240.0 ft. to a point on the North
right -of -way line of Distribution Drive; thence S62 °36'41 along said North right -
01 way line, 900.0 ft. to a point on the East right -of -gray line of Production

Southeasterly and continuing.along said East right -of -way line, being the arc
of a 603 ft. radius curve to the right having a chord bearing and distance of
S12 °58'30 "E, 300.43 ft.; thence S01 °27'1,,1 and continuing along said East right -
of -way line, 304.15 ft.; thence S88 °11'40 "E, 297.35 ft.; thence N0057'E, 10.0 ft.;
thence S87 050'50 11E, 509.8 ft. to a point on the North right -of -way line of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad, (said line being the present City Limits); thence
N50 °03'E along said North right -of -way line, 1047.3 ft. to the point of beginning.
Section 2. That the above - described lands shall be annexed to
and made a part of Ward No. 4 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the
same shall henceforth be a part of said Ward as fully as existing parts of
said Ward.
