AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE APPLICATION FOR LEAA FUNDS TO BE USED
FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER TERMINAL EQUIP-
MENT; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to submit an application to the Arkansas Commission
for Crime and Law Enforcement for LEAA Grant Funds in the
amount of $5,850.00 for the purchase of computer terminal
equipment, which equipment is currently being leased. Of
this said sum, $293.00 is the amount to be paid by the City
of Little Rock, $293.00 to be provided by the State of Ar-
kansas, and $5,264.00 in federal funds.
SECTION 2. The sum of $293.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to provide
the City's share of the purchase of computer terminal equip-
ment authorized in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
