AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF A TRACT OF
LAND DESCRIBED AS:
Part of Walnut Valley Second Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and all of Pleasantree First,
Second and Third Additions to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, all located in Section 33, T -2 -N, R -13 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and more particularly described
hereinafter.
WHICH LAND IS CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, upon the petition of more than fifty -five percent
(55 %) of the total number of real estate owners owning acreage within
the boundaries of the above described property who own collectively
more than seventy -five percent (75 %) of the said acreage, and after
due notice of a hearing on said petition, which notice was published
for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, did on April 9, 1975, enter its order
annexing the area more specifically described in Section 1 hereof to
the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have elapsed within which any
interested person could institute proceedings in the Circuit Court
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to prevent said annexation and there
appeared no protestants to this annexation; and
WHEREAS, the area hereinafter particularly described in
Section 1 hereof is contiguous to and adjoins the existing city limits
of the City of Little Rock, and all proceedings prerequisite to
the annexation of said area have been conducted as required by law;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desirable that said area as hereinafter
specifically described in Section 1 be annexed to the City of Little
Rock;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described territory in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of Walnut Valley Second Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, and all of Pleasantree First, Second and

Third Additions to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
all located in Section 33, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and more particularly described as
follows.:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 342,
said Walnut Valley Second Addition (said point being
the Southeast corner of the NE h SW 4, said Section 33);
thence S 89 °20'02 "W along the South line of said Lot 342,
50.0 ft. to the Southwest corner thereof (said corner
also being the Southeast corner of Lot 359, said
Pleasantree First Addition); thence continue S 89 °20`02 "W
along the South line of said Pleasantree First Addition
1269.13 ft. to the Southwest corner of Lot 427, said
Addition; thence N 0 041130 11W along the West line of said
Pleasantree First Addition 1361.4 ft. to a point on the
West line of Lot 446, said Addition (said point being
the Southeast corner of the Eh SA NW4, said Section 33,
and the Southeast corner of Lot 1, said Pleasantree Third
Addition); thence N 89050 -130 11W along the South line of
said Pleasantree Third Addition, 663.12 ft. to the Southwest
corner of Lot 8, said Third Addition; thence N 0 031140 "W
along the West line of said Third Addition, 666.23 ft.
to the Northwest corner of Lot 13, said Third Addition;
thence Easterly along the North line of said Third Addition
the following bearings and distances: S 89 °42'50 "E, 326.43 ft.;
S 0 041'30 "E1 243.98 ft.; N 89 °35'30 "E,'25 0 ft.; N 89 018130 "E,
20.0 ft.; N 0 °41'30 "W, 85.O ft.; and N 89018'30 "E, 120.0 ft.
to the Northeast corner of Lot 24, said Third Addition,
said point being on the West right -of -way line of Pickering
Drive; thence N 0 041030 "W along said West right -of -way line,
257.90 ft.; thence continue Northwesterly along said West
right -of -way line, being the arc of a 49.42 ft. radius
curve to the left, having a chord bearing and distance of
N 45 °12'10 "W, 69.28 ft.; thence N 0 017110 11E and continuing
along said West right -of -way line, 50.O ft. to a,point on
the North right -of -way line of said Pickering Drive; thence

to the Northwest.corner of said Pleasantree Second Addition;

said Pleasantree First Addition, 646.77 ft. to a point on
the East line of Lot 495, said Addition (said corner also
being the Northwest corner of Lot 322, Walnut Valley Second
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the
Northeast corner of the NE k SW 4, said Section 33); thence
S 0 42138 11E along the East line of said NE4 SW4, 1343.1 ft.
to the point of'beginning, containing 66.05 acres more or

be, and the same hereby is accepted as annexed to, and is hereby

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately on and after its passage.
