ORDINANCE NO 13,024
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE APPLICATION FOR LEAA FUNDS TO BE USED
FOR THE FIRST OFFENDER PROGRAM; APPROPRIATING
FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to submit an application to the Arkansas Commission
for Crime and Law Enforcement for LEAA Grant Funds in the
amount of $30,184 for the continuation of the Municipal
Court's First Offender Program for the period of July 1,
1975 to July 1, 1976. Of this said sum, $12,308.00 has
heretofore been allocated in the 1975 Budget for the City
and $754.00 is to be provided by the State of Arkansas,
leaving the sum of $3,539.00 to be appropriated by the City
for this project.
SECTION 2. The sum of $3,539.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to provide
funds needed for the First Offender program as set out in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
