AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, ACTING FOR THE CITY, AND
TRI -CITY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO PERFORM CER-
TAIN EARTH AND LANDSCAPE WORK IN KANIS AND BOYLE
PARKS FOR A CONSIDERATION OF $15,000.00; APPRO-
PRIATING SAID $15,000.00 AS THE CITY'S CASH
MATCHING SHARE OF FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT A BIKEWAY
IN BOYLE PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Commission is
performing certain sewer construction work in and through
Boyle and Kanis Parks under contract with Tri -City Construc-
tion Company; and
WHEREAS, the said Tri -City Construction Company has
negotiated with the Parks and Recreation Department of the City
of Little Rock to perform certain earth and landscape work
under its said contract with the Sewer Department in both said
parks for a consideration paid to the Parks Department of
$15,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of entering into the said
Agreement with Tri -City Construction Company and using said
$15,000.00 consideration as the City's matching share of funds
necessary to construct and provide a bikeway in Boyle Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock is hereby authorized
and directed to enter into an Agreement with Tri -City Construc-
tion Company providing for the City to perform certain earth
and landscape work in Boyle and Kanis Parks for Tri -City
Construction Company under its contract with the Little Rock
Sanitary Sewer Commission presently doing sewer construction
work.in gaid parks and receive therefor the sum of $15,000.00
which is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance
of the General Fund to be used by the City as its cash matching
share of total funds, the balance being provided by the Federal
Bureau of Outdoor Recreation to construct and provide a bike-
way in Boyle Park. The Agreement between the City of Little

Rock and Tri -City Construction Company is conditioned upon
approval in writing thereon by the Little Rock Sanitary
Sewer Commission.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
