AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN PLEASANT VALLEY ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
1st day of August, 1974, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate, abandon and close a portion of a certain street in
Pleasant Valley Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition
appearing of record in Plat Book 24 at Page 58 in the off ice
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Board of Directors has, at the dime and place mentioned in
the Notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the
question and has ascertained that said street has heretofore
been dedicated to the public for use as a street, as herein-
after described; that the portion of said street sought to
be vacated, closed and abandoned is no longer needed or re-
quired for corporate purposes or for use by the general
public and adjoining owners; that all of the owners of the
property abutting upon the portion of the street to be vacated
have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent
to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such
portion of said street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights,
together with the rights of the public generally, in and
to those portions of said street, to wit, E1 Dorado Drive,
designated as follows:
Tract No, 1:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 10, Pleasant Valley Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence N 1°
00' 00" E for 105.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
Thence continue N 1° 00' 00" E 25.00 feet to a
point; thence S 89° 00' 00" E for 25.00 feet to the
point of curvature -of a nonradial curve to the left
having an internal angle of 90' 00' 00 ", a radius
of 25.00 feet and a tangent of 25.00 feet;
Thence westerly and southerly along said curve
for 39.27 feet to the Point of Beginning, said
tract containing 134.13 square feet, more or less.
Tract No, 2:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 10, Pleasant Valley Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence N 1°
00' 00" E for 105.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
Thence N 890 00' 00" W for 50.00 feet to a
point; thence N 1° 00' 00" E for 26.06 feet to a
point of curvature of a nonradial curve to the
left having an internal angle of 2° 40' 0211, a.
radius of 979.93 feet and a tangent of 22.79 feet;
Thence easterly 45.62 feet along said curve to
the point of tangency; thence S 89° 00' 00" E for
4.40 feet to a point; thence S 1° 00' 00" W for
25.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, said tract
containing 1,274.18 square feet, more or less.
Tract No. 3:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 10, Pleasant Valley Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence N 16
00' 00" E for 105.00 feet to a point; thence N 89°
00' 001' W for 50.00 feet to a point; thence N 1° -
00'00" E for 76.12 feet to the Point of Beginning;

Thence continue N 1° 00' 00" E for 23.88
feet to a point; thence S 89° 00' 00" E for
50.00 feet to a point of curvature of a non -
radial curve to the left having an internal
angle of 90° 00' 00 ", a radius of 25.00 feet
and a tangent of 25.00 feet.
Thence southerly and easterly along said
curve for 39.27 feet to the point of tangency;
thence N 89° 00' 00" W for 29.40 feet to the
point of curvature of a curve to the right having
an internal angle of 2° 48' 38 ", a radius of
929.93 feet and a tangent of 22.81 feet;
Thence continue westerly along said curve for
45.62 feet to the Point of Beginning, said tract
containing 1,358.59 square feet, more or less.
Subject, however, to any public utility easements located
in the aforesaid portion of said street.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified
by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the deed records
of the county.
Section 3. The redevelopment of lands abutting on
said street and the construction of other public ways will be
delayed if said portion of said street is not closed and
vacated immediately. An emergency is, therefore, declared
to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public welfare shall take effect im-
mediately upon its passage and approval.
