AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13,153, WHICH ACCEPTED
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF LOT 1,
J.M.H. SUBDIVISION, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, WHICH LAND IS
CONTIGUOUS TO THE EXISTING PRESENT CITY LIMITS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an Order of Annexation was filed by the County Judge of Pulaski
County, annexing Lot 1, J.M.H. SUBDIVISION of Pulaski County; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to the Order of Annexation to include the rights-
of -way of all abutting and adjoining streets thereto, has been filed by the
Pulaski County Judge;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the legal description of the land annexed by Ordinance
No. 13,153, on April 20, 1976, should be, and is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Lot 1, J.M.H. SUBDIVISION, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
the rights -of -way of all abutting and adjoining streets
thereto.
SECTION 2. It is therefore, declared that the land described and hereby
annexed is being devoted strictly to urban uses, that there are valuable
improvements made thereon, and it is necessary that said land be immediately
annexed, therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately on and after its passage.
