AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGN-
ING SAME TO WARDS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with thb "County
Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of the
hereinafter described land, praying that said lands be
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of November, 1975,
the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that
the petition was signed by Pleasant Valley, Inc., as the
owner of all of said lands; that said lands are contiguous
and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of
said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
petition; that proper notice had been given for the time
and in the manner prescribed by law, and that all things
pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed
by law, and that said lands should be annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas., subject to
the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said
City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from
said order of annexation made by the County Court has ex-
pired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. That the following described lands
contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be and the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed
to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
A tract of land lying in the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NEk NEB),
Section 28, Township 2 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner
of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter (NEk NEk) of said Section 28, Town-
ship 2 North, Range 13 West; thence S 0° 45'
00" E for a distance of 375.15 feet to a
point; thence S 89° 40' 28" E for a distance
of 456.44 feet to the Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing S 89° 40' 28" E for
a distance of 850.34 feet to a point on the
easterly line of the aforesaid Section 28;
thence S 1° 22' 40" E for a distance of
145.41 feet to a point; thence N 89° 38' 00"
W for a distance of 850.56 feet to a point;
thence N 1° 17' 00" W for a distance of 145.01
feet to the Point of Beginning;
Said tract containing 2.830 acres, more
or less.
Section 2. That the above described lands shall
be annexed to and made a part of Ward No. 5 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and the same shall henceforth be a
part of said Ward as fully as existing parts of said Ward.
