ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE STREET BETWEEN
LOT 6, BLOCK 5, AND LOT 1, BLOCK 6 OF DICKINSON MILL
ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 19th day of November
19 75, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of
the street between Lot 6, Block 5, and Lot 1, Block 6 or Dickinson
Mill Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat
of said Addittion now appearing of record in Deed Book #1, Page
#238, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to any public easements in said street.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
as certained that the street, hereinbefore described, has heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein described;
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley
to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written
consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
