AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGNING SAME TO
WARDS.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter
described land, praying that said land be annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of September, 1976, the
County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the peti-
tion was signed by a majority of the owners in area and in
number of the following described land located in Pulaski
County, Arkansas; that said land is contiguous and adjoining
the present corporate limits to the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas; that an accurate plat or map of said land had been
filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper
notice had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed
by law, and that all things pertaining thereto had been done
in the manner prescribed by law, and that said land. should be
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of
said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from
said order of annexation made by the County Court has expired
and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described land con-
tiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be,
and the same is hereby, accepted as part of and annexed to
and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
Part of the W2 W2 NEk NWk, Section 33, T -2 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as:
Starting at the SE corner of said W2 W2 NEk NWk;
thence N 0° 23' E along the East line of the
W2 W2 NEi4 NWk, Section 33 574.8' to the point
of beginning; thence N 89a 37' W 223.5'; thence

N 00 23' E 78.0'; thence S 890 37' E 223.5' to
the East line of the W2 W2 NE-14 NW4, Section 33;
thence S 00 23' W along said East.line, 78.0'
to the point of beginning, containing 0.4 acre.
SECTION 2. That the above described land shall be
annexed to and made a part of Ward Number 5 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the same shall henceforth be a
part of said Ward as fully as existing parts of said Ward.
