AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE USE OF ANY
DEVICE OR TELEPHONE ATTACHMENT THAT AUTO-
MATICALLY SELECTS A PUBLIC, PRIMARY TELEPHONE
TRUNKLINE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND THEN
REPRODUCES ANY PRERECORDED MESSAGE; DECLARING
THE VIOLATION THEREOF TO BE A MISDEMEANOR;
PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to use or cause to be used any device or telephone
attachment that automatically selects a public, primary telephone
trunkline of the City of Little Pock and then reproduces any
prerecorded message.
SECTION 2. The violation of the provisions of this
Ordinance is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor and upon
conviction, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.00.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance
shall be in full force and effect 90 days from and after its
passage.
