AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 4 -M OF
SECTION 43 -22 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES PERTAINING
TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Subsection (4) of Section 43 -22 of the Code
of Ordinances pertaining to the Board of Adjustment and its
jurisdiction is hereby amended to provide an additional sub-
section "m" pertaining to notices to abutting property owners
which shall read as follows:
(m) Before the Board of Adjustment shall consider
a request for variance of any property, the
petitioner for such variance shall first give
not less than ten (10) days written notice of
the time, place and date of public hearing
thereon to all the record owners of property
situated within 200 feet thereof as certified
by a licensed abstractor. Said notice shall
be sent by certified or registered mail to
the last known address of such record owner(s)
and the petitioner shall execute and file with
the Secretary of said Board an Affidavit showing
compliance herewith attaching as exhibits to said
Affidavit official evidence that said notices
have been so mailed."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
