ORDINANCE NO. 13F270
ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS
LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an Order was duly rendered and entered by the County Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, on December 13, 1976, granting the prayer of the
petition filed in the office of the Clerk of said Court, annexing to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, the area described in said petition and Order and
hereinafter described, a copy of said December 13, 1976 Order having been duly
forwarded to the Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, by the County
Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since said Order of the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, was made and entered annexing said area to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and that no person has given any notice or
instituted any proceeding to have such annexation prevented:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby annexes and accepts
the area of land described hereinafter and makes the same a part of the Fifth
Ward of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, as authorized and
provided by law:
A part of the SW-14 of the SE-14 of Section 21, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows: Commence at the
Southwest corner of said SW4 of the SE4 and run thence
North 0 degrees 37 minutes 30 seconds West along the
center line of a county road (60 foot right of way)
for a distance of 983.93 feet; thence North 89 degrees
22 minutes 30 seconds East for a distance of 30 feet to the
point of beginning; thence North 0 degrees 37 minutes
30 seconds West for a distance of 298.02 feet; thence
South 89 degrees 35 minutes 36 seconds East for a distance
of 751.45 feet; thence North 0 degrees 04 minutes
44 seconds East for a distance of 30 feet to a point
on the North line of said SW-4- of the SE4 of Section 21;
thence South 89 degrees 35 minutes 36 seconds East for
a distance of 465.35 feet to a point on the West right
of way line of Rodney Parham Road, said point also being
the point of curvature of a 3.000487 degree curve to the
right, said curve having a radius of 1909.55 feet, a tangent
of 124.44 feet and an internal angle of 7 degrees 27 minutes
26 seconds; thence Southwesterly along said curve to the
right for a distance of 248.53 feet to the point of tangency
thereof; thence South 44 degrees 22 minutes 50 seconds
West along the West right of way line of Rodney Parham
Road for a distance of 829.21 feet; thence North 45 degrees
37 minutes 10 seconds West for a distance of 660.13 feet to
the point of beginning, containing 12.391 acres, more or less,
to include all adjacent and abutting streets rights -of -ways.
XONTI.NUATION OF ORDINANCE NO. -13,270
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
recorded in the Deed Records of the said County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
