AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGN-
ING SAME TO WARDS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter described land, praying
that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of December, 1976, the County Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the petition was signed by Ken
Castleberry, Director, State Building Services, State of Arkansas,
petitioner herein, and by Kirby Smith, III, as attorney for petitioner;
that State Building Services, State of Arkansas, is the owner of all
of said lands; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present
corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate
plat or map of said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law; that all things pertaining thereto had been
done in the manner prescribed by law; and that said lands should be annexed
to and made a part of the City'of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the
acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said City at the proper
time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of
annexation made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been
taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the following described lands contiguous and adjoining
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same are hereby accepted
as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
All that part of the S1 /2 of the SW1 /4 of Section
34, Township 2 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, lying East of U.S. Interstate Highway No.
I -430 more particularly described as: Beginning at
the Southeast corner of said S1 /2 SW1 /4; thence
West along the South line of said S1 /2 SW1 /4, and
the North line of Ellis Acres and Park Haven Additions

to the City of Little Rock 1644.47 feet to a point on
the East Right -of -Way line of U.S. Interstate Highway
No. I -430; thence along said East Right -of -Way line
the following bearings and distances: North 04 degrees
02 minutes 09 seconds West 113.98 feet; North 1 degree
52 minutes 05 seconds East 401.28 feet; North 1 degree
50 minutes 05 seconds East 399.79 feet; North 1 degree
46 minutes 05 seconds East 426.05 feet to a point on
the North line of the S1 /2 SW1 /4; thence South 89
degrees 18 minutes 52 seconds East along the North
line of said S1 /2 SW1 /4 and the South line of Treasure
Hills Addition to the City of Little Rock 1610.90 feet
to the Northeast corner of said S1/2 SW1 /4; thence
South 00 degrees 07 minutes 00 seconds East along the
East line of said S1/2 SW1 /4 and the West line of
Treasure Hills Addition to the City of Little Rock
1390.93 feet to the point of beginning, containing
49.877 acres, more or less.
Section 2. That the above described lands shall be annexed to and
made a part of Ward No. 5 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
the same shall henceforth be a part of said Ward as fully as existing parts
of said Ward.
