A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 18, 2012, AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE PLANNING
COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A FOOD STORE UNDER 5,000 SQUARE FEET
WITH SALES OF BEER OR WINE ON THE C -3 ZONED PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2501 SOUTH ARCH STREET (Z- 8780), IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
Commission's action in approving a Conditional Use Permit to allow a food store under 5,000 square -feet
with sales of beer or wine on the C -3 zoned property located at 2501 South Arch Street (Z- 8780),
pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the petition to rescind the Planning Commission's approval of a request to
approve a Conditional Use Permit to allow a food store under 5,000 square -feet with sales of beer or wine
on the C -3 zoned property located at 2501 South Arch Street shall be held at a meeting of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 4th day of
September, 2012.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
