13314ORDINANCE NO 13,314 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SUBSECTIONS OF SECTION 15 -1 AND 15 -17.1 OF THE CODE OF ORDI- NANCES PERTAINING TO GARBAGE COLLECTION AND LANDFILL DUMPING FEES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. Subsection (1) of Section 15 -1 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to garbage collection fees is hereby amended to read as follows: (1) For each single residence or unit of duplex or multiple dwelling utilizing city approved con- tainers serviceable by manpower the sum of three dollars and eighty -five cents ($3.85) per month; such fees shall be collected monthly and billed on the statement for water for said premises and be the debt and obligation of the person, firm or corporation in whose name the water meter for said residence, unit or duplex or unit of multiple dwelling is listed. SECTION 2. Subsection (2) of Section 15 -1 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to garbage collection fees is hereby amended to read as follows: (2) For each multiple dwelling or commercial property utilizing city - approved, privately owned containers not capable of being serviced except by manpower, the fee will be one dollar and forty -five ($1.45) cents per month per cubic yard of material handled. Such fees shall be collected monthly and be billed on the statement for water for the premises served and be the debt and obligation of the person, firm or corporation in whose name the water meter or meters for such multiple dwelling or commercial property is listed. SECTION 3. Subsection (b)of Section 15 -17.1 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to fees for dumping in sanitary landfill is hereby amended to read as follows: (b) The charges referred to in subsection (a) hereof shall be as follows: (1) Each compacted cubic yard $1.00 (2) Each noncompacted cubic yard, 60�, with a minimum of $1.00 per dumping.
