AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS FOR PHASE II OF THE NEW LANDFILL
IMPROVEMENTS AND FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
IN THE METROCENTRE AREA; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $350,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from Revenue Sharing Funds to pay for Phase II improvements at
the new sanitary landfill in contemplation of a July 1, 1977
operation date. Said landfill is a parcel of land lying west
of Ironton Cutoff Road described as the Northeast 4 of the
Northwest 4 of Section 16; the Southeast 4 of the Southwest
of Section 9; the Southwest 4 of the Southeast4 of Section 9,
and the Northwest 4 of the Northeast 4 of Section 16, all in
Township 1 South, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The sum of $146,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from Revenue Sharing Funds to defray the cost of work on the
3rd to 4th Street, Main to Rock Street interception Storm
Drainage Project. A complete description of the area involved
is set out on Exhibit "A" to this Ordinance and made a part
hereof as though set out herein word for word. Metrocentre
will contribute $35,000.00 to the project for a total project
cost of $181,000.00.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
