AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
CAPITAL ACQUISITION PROGRAM OF CENTRAL
ARKANSAS TRANSIT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, under the 1977 -1978 Capital Acquisition program
for Central Arkansas Transit it is proposed to purchase six
small buses (20 to 30 passengers, without wheelchair lift) and
another small bus (with lift); refitting two regular buses with
lifts and purchasing approximately 20 registering fare boxes
during the year 1977; and
WHEREAS, Little Rock's matching share of funds for the
year 1977 is $22,500, and it is desired to appropriate such
funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $22,500.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unexpended balance of the General Fund to provide the
City's local matching share of funds for Central Arkansas Tran-
sit's Capital Acquisition Program for 1977 for the purposes
herein set out.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
