AN ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS REMAINING
IN CERTAIN SPECIAL PROJECT ACCOUNTS AND FUNDS
TO BE REIMBURSED TO THE CITY; APPROPRIATING
$1,600,000.00 IN FEDERAL FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, there are fund balances remaining after completion of
certain projects, as follows:
and,
1. TOPICS $69,209.00
2. Storm Drainage project (Street Fund) 20,500.00
3. Storm Drainage project (General Fund) 46,503.00
4. Geyer Springs project 238,836.00
$374,948.00
WHEREAS, the sum of $15,000.00 is to be reimbursed to the City
of Little Rock by the Olivet Baptist Church in connection with the
Hughes Street project; and
WHEREAS, there will be available to the City of Little Rock
Federal Aid Urban System Funds in the amount of $1,600,000, which
together with the reserve balances above set forth and the $15,000.00
reimbursement from Olivet Baptist Church may be used for the projects
listed below.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The fund balances above set forth in the total amount
of $374,948.00, plus the $15,000.00 to be reimbursed to the City by
Olivet Baptist Church, together with the sum of $1,600,000.00 in Federal
Aid Urban System funds to be received from time to time are hereby appro-
priated to be used for the following projects:
1. Signal System Design (Consultant)
2. Hughes Street: Markham to Princess
3. Emergency Spare Signal Equipment
4. Barrow Road: Markham to Kanis
5. Community Services Equipment
6. Signalization Upgradings
7. Foxcroft at Cantrell
8. Consulting Engineers Fees
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
