AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGN-
ING SAME TO WARDS
WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter
described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little-Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of
May , 1978, the
County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the
Petition was signed by the majority of.the owners in area
and in number of the following described lands located in
Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said lands are contiguous
and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of said
lands had been filed with and made a part of said Petition;
that proper notice has been given for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining
thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law, and
that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of
same by the Board of Directors of the said City at the proper
time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said
Order of annexation made by the County Court has expired and
no appeal has been taken from said Order;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous
to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, -and
the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little Rock:

Part of the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 32, Township
1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as: Beginning at
the intersection of the South right -of -way line
of Interstate Route No. 30 and West right -of -way
line of Scott Hamilton Drive; thence South 0 022'
West, along said West right -of -way line of Scott
Hamilton Drive 200.0 feet; thence N 89 038' West
and perpendicular to said West right -of -way line
of Scott Hamilton Drive, 211.03 feet; thence
North 0 022' East and parallel with said West
right -of -way line of Scott Hamilton Drive, 188.21
feet to a point on the South right -of -way line of
Interstate Route No. 30; thence South 78 012' East
along said South right -of -way line, 73.47 feet;
thence North 79 038' East and continuing along
said South right -of -way line, 141.5 feet to the
point of beginning,(containing 39,001 sq. feet
or 0.8953 acre more or less), and all abutting
or adjacent public street rights -of -way.
SECTION 2. That the above described lands shall be annexed
to and made a part of Ward No. 4 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and the same shall henceforth be a part of said Ward
as fully as existing parts of said Ward.
