13424ORDINANCE NO. 13,424 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF 32ND STREET BETWEEN THE EAST HALF OF BLOCK 2 AND THE EAST HALF OF BLOCK 10, REMMEL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the.21st day of December, 1977", asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of 32nd Street between the East Half of Block 2 and the East Half of Block 10, Remmel Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book 2, Page 184, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said street; and WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the street, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, va- cates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public gene- rally, in and to the street designated as follows: that part of 32nd Street (formerly Wilton Street) west from Lewis Street (formerly Wilson Street) to the drainage ditch east of Peyton Street, or, between Lot 1, Block 2 and Lot 6, Block 10 of Remmel Addition to the City of Little Rock. subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street. SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. Page 2 SECTION 3.
